This blade features a framed handle. The Damascus steel blade and the mono steel handle are joined and locked together. This is done for practical and esthetic reasons. The spine is hand filed with my unique design and adds some depth to the handle. The Desert Iron Wood handle scales shine like glass with beautiful amber colors.
