Happy New Year. I hope you all had a great holiday. We had a great time with family and I even caught a holiday bug! Slowed me down some, but I believe I'm on the mend and getting back to my regular work schedule. Multiple knives are in the making. I normally don't include this part of the process, but if you notice the tool on the dagger at left, it's a file guard. I use it to set the ricasso to the guard. I will file the steel so it sets perfectly against the guard with no gaps. These are all steps to ensure the highest quality and what separates custom makers from the rest.
